Kim Eaton serves Aptean as Chief Executive Officer, leading the company to provide unrivaled service to its nearly 5,000 global customers and drive product innovation in the enterprise software market. Ms. Eaton joined Aptean in August 2014 as Chief Operating Officer, overseeing all aspects of Aptean’s global operations.
Ms. Eaton has over 25 years in the technology sector with a broad range of senior leadership and management positions. She began her career as an Accenture consultant, implementing large-scale distribution and warehouse management systems, as well as Financial and HR/Payroll solutions.More
She has served as President for BlueCube Software and as Executive Vice President for RedPrairie Corporation. Prior to joining Aptean, Ms. Eaton was with NCR Corporation where she served as Senior Vice President and General Manager for NCR Corporation’s Hospitality Division. She was also responsible for the integration process of Radiant Systems into NCR, focusing on sales and marketing.
Ms. Eaton holds a Bachelor of Science in Distributed Studies (Biology, Chemistry) from Iowa State University.Close
Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer
As Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Bijal Patel is responsible for overseeing all of Aptean accounting, finance, legal and IT functions.
Prior to joining Aptean, Mr. Patel spent four years at Misys, a leader of software to the financial services industry and most recently served as Deputy Chief Financial Officer. Prior to Misys, he held various finance and commercial leadership positions spanning more than a decade at IBM (UK).More
Known for his passion for embracing challenges, driving operational performance, collaborating across the business and developing effective teams, Mr. Patel will lead the planning and execution of Aptean’s immediate and long term financial strategies.
Mr. Patel has been a member of the Association of Certified Charted Accountants since 2006 and earned his degree from the University of Wales, Cardiff.Close
Kyle L. Bowker
Executive Vice President, Global Account Management & Marketing
Mr. Bowker leads the worldwide Aptean account management and marketing teams and is responsible for growing the company’s business globally.
A seasoned professional, Kyle Bowker has 28 years of leadership and management experience within the enterprise software industry. Kyle has a proven track record of success in organic and acquisition-based growth strategies enabling the development of long-term, sustainable relationships with shareholders, customers, partners and colleagues.More
Before joining Aptean, Mr. Bowker served as Executive Vice President of Americas at RedPrairie Corporation. His career also includes senior executive roles in the enterprise software arena: VP and MD Americas for Progress Software, SVP Global Sales at Allegro Development Corporation, President and CEO at Nextance, SVP North America sales at PeopleSoft, EVP Worldwide Field Operations at Informatica Corp, SVP and General Manager Manufacturing Sector at SAP America, and managerial roles at Oracle Corporation and Dun & Bradstreet Software.
Mr. Bowker received his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at Tyler, Texas and his Bachelor of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas.Close
Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer
As Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Jack Blaha leads the Aptean global Product, Professional Services and Support teams. He joined the company in August as Executive Vice President, leading Aptean’s Integrated Operations solutions division. Blaha has more than 15 years of leadership experience in the technology and manufacturing sector, most recently with Vista Consulting Group (VCG), the consulting arm of Aptean’s parent company, Vista Equity Partners. Prior to VCG, he held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Semiconductor Support Services Co.
Mr. Blaha’s additional experience includes serving as General Manager at SVTC™ Technologies, General Manager of the Metron Equipment Group, Director of Global Operations for Metron, and an Officer in the US Army.More
Mr. Blaha earned his Master of Business Administration from the Haas School at UC Berkeley and an undergraduate degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point.Close
Vice President, Global Business Enablement
As Vice President of Global Business Enablement, Mike Ressel has responsibility for global operations supporting Aptean's account management, professional services & support functions as well as channel partnerships and acquisition integrations. Since joining Aptean in 2012, Mr. Ressel has provided executive leadership in a number of areas including Professional Services, Global Sales Operations, Customer Retention and Aptean’s operations in EMEA.More
Prior to joining Aptean Mr. Ressel spent a year working with Aptean’s parent firm, Vista Equity Partners, as an inaugural member of their executive development program, and previous to Vista served in a variety of high profile strategic roles with CheckFree Corporation and Fiserv, Inc.
Mr. Ressel holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from West Virginia University.Close
Vice President, Human Resources
Joanna Berentsen leads all global human resources strategy and execution for Aptean. Ms. Berentsen has 15 years of human resources experience, specializing in employee engagement and relations, talent acquisition, performance management, and training and development.
Prior to joining Aptean in September 2013, she served as Senior Human Resources Manager at JDA Software, within the Learning & Development division. Ms. Berentsen had previously served as the Director of Talent Acquisition & Development for RedPrairie, which was acquired by JDA Software in January 2013. Her experience also includes HR positions with The Partners Group, Paramount Staffing and law firms Kilpatrick Townsend and Drew Eckl & Farnham.More
Ms. Berentsen holds a Bachelor’s degree from New York University and a Masters in Theological Studies from the Claremont School of Theology.Close
