Intuitive ERP provides a bid matrix tool for entering and maintaining bids from vendors for purchased items. After you enter a bid matrix for an item, the system will use the pricing information from this source on quotes, purchase orders and planned purchase orders.
You may enter multiple bids from a vendor for the same item. You may also set up separate units of measure for purchasing, stocking and selling items. You can print bid matrices for all vendors or for a specific vendor, which is helpful to use as an audit for price matrices and/or price sheets from a specific vendor.
A complete RFQ (request for vendor quote) system is also included and comes fully integrated into both the Intuitive approvals system and the AlertMessenger feature. The RFQ functionality may be called from the quote, purchase order, or directly from the main menu.
