In many businesses stock traceability is crucial, the ability to control the selection of specific stock and have full traceability of each receipt through to despatch is now more essential than ever.

Aptean WMS gives complete control of stock in, within and out of the warehouse. There is the facility to select stock with special characteristics to meet specific client’s requirements if required, with the ability to trace the issue of specific stock batches to a delivery point. Stock enquiries enable you to view the quantity of stock by batch, its status, and quantities by Base, Case or Pallet and location of stock within the warehouse. Specific Stock Batches can be placed into quarantine, with a reason code for doing so.

Within Aptean WMS you can import or record against a stock receipt, the batch ID and any number of dates, e.g. production, best before, expiry or stock receipt, enabling the selection, control and tracing of any stock movement within the warehouse and issue against a delivery. Aptean WMS allows the reporting of deliveries to customer delivery points, by batch and by product, and ensures proactive product recall in the event of a QA issue. Aptean WMS provides control, rotation and stock selection to reduce stock wastage, maximise order fulfilment and increase customer service.
