New Release of Aptean DTR ERP Features Enhanced Scheduling, Data Entry Capabilities

A new Priority Tool introduced in DTR’s Master Scheduler allows users to set global priorities for manufacturing orders and quickly identify and resolve scheduling issues. Corresponding work orders reflect those priorities, saving users time.

In addition, DTR 10.1 features increased control over standard fields throughout the software. Authorized personnel can disable fields or make them mandatory, speeding up data entry while at the same time guaranteeing that users enter key information into the system.

“DTR 10.1’s new user field control feature allows us to ensure that our data entry process includes all information we define as mandatory for our system master files,” said Kim Whitmore, controller for SeaGate Plastics and one of the beta testers for the new release. “It certainly eases my mind to know that a user cannot save a record into the system that is missing pertinent information used in other applications.”

Other usability improvements included in DTR 10.1 streamline quoting, inter-branch transfers, customer invoicing and communications, and more.

“We are particularly excited to have the ability to batch process customer statements and email each one with a customized subject and body that matches each customer’s requirements. This feature will save several hours of tedious work each month,” said Myra Boyt, vice president of operations for Criterion Technology, which also beta tested the release.
