Aptean Congratulates Berner Food and Beverage's Expanding Operation

Alpharetta, GA, July 11, 2016 — Aptean would like to congratulate Berner Food and Beverage on their recent expansion. Berner broke ground on a $70 million, 220,000 square foot facility, the largest expansion in company history. The new plant, slated for completion in November, is anticipated to bring approximately 200 new jobs to Dakota, Illinois.

Berner CEO Kurt Seagrist says the expansion of their existing location only made sense as the local area had been good to their family-owned business. “We took a look at the surrounding areas and some of the opportunities that came with moving somewhere else. We chose to expand our current location because of our strong ties to the community.”

Berner CIO Troy Grove is excited about the growth opportunities that lie ahead. “In addition to giving our employees a modern, updated facility, we will be expanding our current product lines, adding new products, and growing our customer base.”
