3T started in Leicester in 2000 and grew up managing transport for other businesses as much as selling software to them. That order matters. The EVENT platform came out of the daily work of booking carriers, chasing collections and arguing over invoices, which is why it is organised around decisions rather than modules. In 2023 3T became part of Aptean, adding scale, security and a wider supply chain portfolio behind the same platform and the same team.
Software on Its Own Rarely Fixes a Transport Problem
Some operations need a system and a planner who knows how to use it. Others need the function run for them. 3T does both — EVENT as software you licence, and managed transport services where our team tenders, plans and books on your behalf. The same platform sits underneath both, so moving between them later does not mean changing systems.
